NC Police Service - January Start

What will I learn?

This 18 week course is designed to inform you about a career in the Police service and will equip you with an insight into the knowledge and skills required to produce an informed and robust application, should you decide to apply.

A specialist and experienced team will guide you through the structure and function of the organisation, support you in developing your fitness and assist you in reviewing and refining your interview technique.

What qualifications do I need?

Candidates should have achieved 3 National 5 qualifications. Acceptance onto this programme will also be based on an interview and may require a written piece of work to determine suitability.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate basic numeracy and communication skills and be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in the criminal justice system and be focussed on their learning and furthering their education.

What can I do after?

Candidates may wish to apply to Police Scotland or continue to study on NC Social Sciences Level 5 or Level 6, based on their qualifications.
