NC Higher Social Sciences and Criminology

What will I learn?

You'll have the opportunity to create your own bespoke timetable, best suited to your achievements so far and the pathway you would like to follow. You can choose to include Highers or subjects from the Social Science Group Award, including:

• Sociology
• Psychology
• History
• English
• National 5 Maths
• Forensic psychology
• Crime control strategies

What qualifications do I need?

You'll need four passes at National 5 or Intermediate 2, preferably in English and social subjects. At least 2 passes should be at A or B level or NC Social Science level 5.

For a place on the course you'll need to attend an interview, bringing proof of your qualifications with you .

After successfully completing this course you can develop your skills by studying another course, such as:
