What qualifications do I need?
You will need National 4 Biology (or equivalent) and ideally another science such as Chemistry. You must also be able to show us that you're committed and enthusiastic, with a goal to work in the pharmacy sector. For a place on the course you'll need to attend an interview (bringing along any qualifications you may have) as well as complete a short on-line course.
Applicants whose first language is not English must have ESOL at Level 6 Grade C or above (or equivalent).
An alternative route to entry is to complete our Introduction to Pharmacy Services course at Level 4
What can I do after?
After successfully completing this course you could gain employment as a pharmacy support worker or pre-registration trainee pharmacy technician. Alternatively, you could continue your academic studies by progressing to Access to HN Science (SCQF Level 6).
