What will I learn?

Commercial Ventures is a Business Enterprise Course. Through the course students will learn key business principals, influences of business in society and create a variety of products in order to put their learning into practice. Group work is an essential element in terms of the students personal development and practical experience to prepare for further study or work based learning.

What qualifications do I need?

For a place on the course you'll be required to attend an interview where you'll be expected to demonstrate that you're interested in entrepreneurial projects, team working skills and practical activities. Part of the course involves going into the local community, so you must be able to do this.

To be offered a place on a course applicants should: demonstrate a willingness to participate in classroom activities; behave appropriately in a classroom setting, and; demonstrate an ability to communicate at the course level.

What can I do after?

After successfully completing this course you will have the skills required to undertake supported or unsupported work in the voluntary sector or manufacturing.
