Course Aims
Working Safely is a one day course for people at any level, in any sector that need a grounding in Health & Safety. It introduces candidates to the importance of working safely and shows how everyone can make a difference to their own wellbeing and that of others through everyday behaviours.
Benefits of Attending
This is a nationally recognised and respected qualification and is also recognised by CSCS as equivalent to a Level 1 award in Health & Safety in a Construction Environment. On passing the qualification candidates will receive the IOSH Working Safely Certificate or IOSH Safety Passport.
Outline of Programme
Modules include
- Introducing working safely
- Defining hazard and risk
- Identifying common hazards
- Improving safety performance
The course is fun and interactive and focuses on best practice rather than legislation.
Entry Requirements
No formal entry requirements.
Exam
Candidates are evaluated using a multi-format question paper and a multiple choice hazard spotting exercise.
